Changing Gears

12th April 2018

I’ve been so bogged down by:

the tactics,

the monetisation models,

the go-to-market strategy,

that I forgot to remind myself that it all starts with a promise to help someone who needs to take action. That thing that they need to move on is something that I am uniquely prepared to help them achieve.

No more listening to business podcasts about conversion rates, marketing funnels or A/B testing until I’m really clear on:

Who I serve

and

What do I offer them that will change their lives for the better.

I have a picture of my mission statement below the clock on the wall next to my computer.

“To help others to take control of their lives, so that they may achieve incredible things.”

I will stop looking for how I can serve my needs by making money selling a product, and instead remember to always bring it back to those people that I want to help to take control of their lives.
