If You Won’t Speak Your Truth, Others Will Speak For You

23rd March 2019

There is nothing more important, more inherently valuable and more powerful than the truth. Everyone has their own truth. What’s yours?

It can be nerve-wracking, scary and even dangerous to speak your truth. Whether it’s the denial you have held on to for decades about your relationship, biting your lip about daily slights in your family or suffering through a job that literally physically hurts – your truth has power.

So when you find you have anxiety, stress and things going wrong in your life, try telling the truth and being candid with people. I’ll talk more in the future about some ways to do that in the least destructive way possible, but like a muscle you need to exercise your truth. If you don’t when it finally does come out it will sound like garbled nonsense.
